Hi Forum,
Here is the script from the final scene:
Quote:[suspenseful music] Where did this come from? He didn't know what to tell them.
But this time Zerstoerer did not come through the mirror anywhere in the world Because in the final, epic battle with the terrible beast from the Other Place, Nick Burkhardt discovered that the only way to defeat such evil was with the strength of his blood, his Aunt Marie, his mother Kelly, and Trubel, his third cousin on his mother's side the power of our ancestors.
And though the people of our world would never know how close they had come to hell on Earth, we knew, because he never turned away from who he was, a Grimm.
And for that reason, the world was changed.
Some will say it's just myth, legend, or fairy tale, but I know it's true because my father told me so.
Kelly, come on.
- I'm almost done.
- Let's go.
- Diana.
- Hurry up.
I'm coming.
Mom and Dad are waiting.
We've got Wesen to kill.
The triplets are coming, too.
Yeah.
What's taking you so long? [tense music]
The dialog is between Kelly and Diana. Kelly is making an entry in the Grimm book about how the Grimms defeated Zerstörer and saved all humanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owaq_tIdnMk
Note the absence of FrankenEve in the battle. Note that she is not even mentioned in the final scene.
Does her absence raise questions?
Why did G&K bring her back? Why not just leave her dead and use the funeral scene? (Wishful thinking! LOL )
So what became of FrankenEve?
Dead or Alive?
Living in Portland or where?
If alive is did she return to a practicing DVM? Did she remain an assassin?
If dead, did she die of natural causes or was she killed? If she was killed, who did it?
Some have created Fan Fiction so if you want to write your tale, please take a shot at creative prose. To get started, take the above poll.
Best!

So the name should be simple enough, but in case it’s not, this thread is meant to offer everyone an opportunity to share why you enjoy Grimm enough to still discuss the show nowadays. Talk about all the things you like or love about the show. After all, you probably didn’t spend about four days of your life on watching a show that you don’t like, right?
So tell us what you love. Talk about scenes, about episodes, about characters and/or relationships. Just please... talk about good things. You can even talk about characters you dislike if you do talk about what you like about them. There are plenty of threads for everyone to talk about what you dislike or hate. But please leave that outside of this particular thread, okay? Let’s try and have a thread people can safely come to when they’ve had a bad day. So please be as nice as I’m sure every one of you can be. That’s if you want to post here. Otherwise, there are plenty of other threads.
Just a few random topics you could mention: (You’re welcome to add to that list, or simply post about an entirely different -positive- topic. And there’s absolutely no need to cover all of these in the same post. You can come back later and talk about a different topic. Just keep it happy and pleasant.)
Who is your favorite character?
Which episode(s) must be part of any rewatch you do?
What scenes do you find particularly well written?
Which type of Wesen is your favorite?
Do you have a favorite arc?
What’s your favorite fairy tale retelling?
Who among the recurring characters intrigues you?
If a friend asked you about Grimm, which episode would you recommend to them?
Which relationships are you particularly fond of? (Both ships and friendships count)
Which seasons worked best for you?
Is there a quote that made you laugh or smile? Any favorites you’d like to share?
Of the various memorable guest characters. who did you like the most?
Why was Nick so obsessed with demoting Juliette back to a normal human again? We know it wasn't out of love. Any love those two had for one another evaporated the moment he found out she was a hexenbiest.
I'm sorry if this should be in "Characters" rather than "Discussions", I wasn't sure where to place it. But can someone explain to me how the layout of Monroe's and Rosalee's place works?
I get the ground level. Right hand side from the door we have Monroe's work area, then there's the downstairs bathroom (located beneath the staircase). And the kitchen. And on the lefthand side we have the living room and the dining area, with the dining area leading into the kitchen (and vice versa), while the living room leads into the dining room.
What I don't get is the first floor. Because from the shots I've seen the guestroom seems to be directly beneath the roof, and right next to the stairs with no walls (yay for privacy!). But while I get the master bedroom and its en suite bathroom, it opens up into a hallway, rather than towards the stairs/guest room. And I keep wondering if there's another bathroom somewhere? Because the downstairs one seems to have a loo + sink. But I can't see a shower (let alone a bathtub) and there doesn't seem to be that much room left, seeing as the kitchen's pretty close to it. So either you need to walk into the masterbedroom to get to the en suite one. Or there has to be another one somewhere?
Considering that prior to the wedding Monroe's parents and Rosalee's mother and sister are all staying over night at the place and would need to get ready for the wedding... I'm seriously trying to wrap my head around how they managed to make everyone comfortable. And how they'll manage to make enough room for each triplet eventually.
Nick was pretty good in a figth and had good instincts when dealing with dangerous wesen but did the show make him just a little to reliant on his scobbie gang particularly Monroe, Rosalee and Hank. Should they have have allowed him to be stronger and stand on his own two feet a little more often. The show often I thought under powered Nick too much for being the central hero, I really enjoyed his character but often thought he was too indecisive or too dependent on others. The writers often also made him too naive at times particularly in his decision making when dealing with Renard throughout the series.
Does anyone else think that the contract Adalind signed was the catalyst that set into motion the coming of zerstorer. There is nothing in the show that makes a direct connection between the contract and zerstorer. But given that they used the key story line to introduce the stick which had a connection to zerstorer. Then you have Diana and Eve, the only ones that can see the signs. We know that Diana was the result of the contract and the process. It would make since that Juliette becoming a hexenbiest was also related to what created Diana.
I will admit that is all assumptions and speculations, but I am wondering if anyone else thinks that the logic makes since.
The Grimm Forum(just Grimm subjects) has had 3191 threads with a total of 60,958 postings. The first post was 3-28-12, the most recent 3-19-18. For me its been fun sharing thoughts and seeing different views and ideas about my all time favorite show. I liked the dreams, the cliff hangers, how the characters changed over time. None of the main characters ever died died. I know it will never come back but I'm glad it was there for 5 1/2 seasons. Just being nostalgic.
I am looking to buy a Grimm mask for the next Mardi Gras(March 5, 2019). I got my hotel booked yesterday. This is one of my High Holy Days and I take a long time to decide what to wear. Normally I make my own, but lately I'm feeling kind of lazy. Does anyone know any sites I can go to find something close. I know the ones for the show involved a lot of prep work but...see above. Any help appreciated.
I was thinking about New Guy's post regarding Nick finding Kelly's head in a box. As a result, I got to thinking about hexenbiests. They are wesen, so I wanted to pose a couple of questions for discussion.
When Juliette became a hexenbiest and subsequently burned the trailer and betrayed Kelly, what laws would she be subject to? Wesen Council or normal human? Both?
Elizabeth made a statement to Renard about the hat could be from the time of malleus maleficarum, and also adds it was a brutal time for their ancestors. Sorcery was elevated to criminal status and witches were persecuted for practicing magic.
Would the hexenbiest species view what happened to Juliette (kidnapping, beating, and force of a new persona) as persecution?
