I thought this might make an interesting thread by itself.
Regarding the kidnapping of Diana, brandon wrote:

Nowhere in any of this is Adalind mentioned. So without the input of the mother, Kelly, Renard, and the scoobies made the decision that Diana must be protected, and therefore taken from her mother.
They betrayed Adalind and led her to believe that the royals had taken her baby. That decision led to variety of consequences, in cluding imprisonment and torture for Adalind herself.
The Royal storyline seemed to end just as abruptly as the BC one did with Bonepartes death, the king was thrown out of the Helicopter and they were basically Never heard from again except for one mention by Meisner about Viktor being the new king and how Viktor had help them to get Diana in exchange for killing the king.
The end of the Royal arc seemed just as panicked as the BC arc why was this?
The show spent the entirety of season 5 building BC as this great world threat, then Boneparte dies and by season 6 they’re basically just in the background somwhere while Renards on his crazy Nick hunt. Then after that are basically not heard from agian apart for 2 small scenes with Renard in episode 4 and 6 of season 6 until Trubel Returns in 6x12 and lets everyone know every cell of BC has been destroyed, what a waste. Did the show come to the realization that the arc wasn’t working so decided to end it as quickly as possible or did only getting a 13 episode season 6 cause the abrupt end of the arc.
When Viktor was getting Adalind to take Nicks powers he mentioned she was able to do this because she still had Nicks Grimm blood in her, Renards mother also said something similar about Adalind having Grimm blood in her. This means Adalind had Grimms blood in her while pregnant with Diana.
I was just rewatching some of the late season 5 and early season 6 episodes in particular and Renard appears more like a scorned lover at times an uneven end of a love triangle than a BC leader and Mayor. Renards hunting of Nick in early season 6 In particular seems wiredly personal, Renard seemed to be obsessed with Adalinds feelings for Nick for some reason even though in previous seasons he didn’t give a toss about Adalind. He made several statments that clearly showed his jealousy like, you’ll regret ever falling for Burkhardt, which made him appear more like a poor cuckholded husband desperate to hold onto his cheating wife rather than the big bad villain he was supposed to be. I mean it came across a bit pathetic on Renards part especially considering he was running around like a nutcase obsessed with catching Nick meanwhile Nicks back at Renards own mansion with his tounge down Adalinds throat.
I just rewatched some of the middle episodes of season 3 just after Diana was born and Adalind appeared very similar in manner to the Adalind of later seasons she practically was season 6 Adalind, she was much less volatile and arrogant she worried about others, Sebastian and Meisner especially even voicing her concerns when Miesner left Sebastien behind and even appeared slightly regretful when she killed the verat guard instead of making him drop the gun as she had intended to do.
Adalind was also very thankful to kelly and Miesner as well as Monroe and Rosalee for helping her. She also appeared slightly regretful about her past actions when talking to kelly about why kelly killed her mother. She was hardly the cold bitch of season 1 and season 2 at that point then Diana was kidnapped and that seemed to set her back slightly to the Adalind of old. I think if she hadn’t of been kidnapped we would have saw the Adalind of the last 2 episodes of season 4 until the series end much sooner.
Sooo ummm I'm in season 3 epsiode 8 and the last episode was amazing, Nick finally acting like a grimm. Killing bad Wesen. But in this epsiode he's like "noooooo I'm not gonna kill this man" he's being a good police detective, whice is cooll and all but I find myself screaming at him most of the episodes "YOU'RE A GRIMM DO WHAT FREAKING GRIMMS DO" he's sooo pacifist more than needed actually, and him bearly using his wepons is really getting on my nerves I'm like "there are bad wesen out there you knoe? Some of them really deserve to die" like that kid from season 2 who wanted to be a grimm.
I guess what I'm trying to say is... Does he change? Like does he actually act like a grimm at some point insted of putting being a cop first?
