Was it really a death scene or a "lets fool the audience" scene?

I think it was both. Good dramatic acting, showing that Nick really loved Juliette. The majority of those posting here were convinced she was dead dead, especially after the funeral preview was shown. Personally I always liked the Grimm dreams. I never thought they were real, but they were a good way of moving things along--Juliette thinking Nick would behead her, for example. The shock of the dead dead crowd when Eve showed up was really amazing--"But they told us she was dead" etc. The majority thought Renard was dead, I loved the double headed snake. This show never killed off a major character, even in the last episode with Mr Z.

I think it was both as well and I really liked the dream sequences as well. My favorite ones were Juliette dreaming of killing Rosalee, that was really well-done, and the scene that was cut where Adalind dreamt of telling Nick that he was the father of her baby because it was hilarious.
