Turning Juliette into a crackerjack Hexenbiest super-agent in three weeks (or whatever short period of time elapsed in six episodes) is sloppy storytelling. Trying to defend it doesn't make it any less sloppy.
Speakeasy has cooked up a possible explanation, but that's what it is: An explanation to cover a gaping plot hole. I seriously doubt the writers themselves will bother to provide any.
