@crossbar. IMO No.3 is the most likely. Simple and straight forward. Like many women, Adalind feels a little crazy at being "just" mommy, starts getting some serious cabin fever, etc.
So she wants to go back to work. The offer has already been made in a fashion. Perfectly understandable.
But, what do they do with little Kelly? As much as I'm sure they would like to, Auntie Rosalee and Uncle Monroe can't babysit every day. Neither can Auntie Truble. So, what the heck are they going to do with the little guy? Can't put him in daycare. Who the hell knows who is working there?
IMO that is going to stir up one heck of an argument.
