There are three magic words that TV writers easily forget about, and they're "Suspension Of Disbelief." The writing staff for GRIMM ignore those words at their own peril.
OK, let me see if I've got this right.
a) People who can instantly turn their selves into animals is believable.
b) Wicked witches that can actually use magic spells are believable.
c) An organization that can brainwash and train someone in a few weeks is unbelievable!
Right, I've got it.
The fact you've completely failed to understand the entire definition of "Suspension of Disbelief" says a lot. Every fantasy world needs to abide by its own rules. STAR WARS, STAR TREK, and HARRY POTTER all have their own respective rules within their worlds, and the moment a writer begins breaking his/her own rules, chaos ensues.
GRIMM is a fantasy world that's partly grounded in reality. As such, that reality needs to be fully recognizable and believable as our own. The fantasy elements allow a lot of leeway, but whenever the "real world" becomes involved, it's mandatory for the writers TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK. If they don't, and story conveniences are used every episode out of sheer creative laziness, your characters cease to be human beings and function only as unsympathetic chess pieces.
Try to remember that, please.
