Quote:Mama Kelly did not trust biests at all. She suggested to Nick that Sean who is his boss would kill him for wanting to talk to him about Diana.Kelly didn’t trust any Wesen and considered them a depraved species that should be irradiated.
Quote:Kelly trusted Nick & Juliette so much that email got her to go back with Diana.I pointed out in my post that I didn’t believe it had anything to do with lack of trust, but rather, the need to keep Diana off the radar.
Quote:Nick is not really living openly with Diana in Portland. Adalind and the kids live in the loft and are not spending time with other children and Diana is not going to school and she has great powers and the king is dead. Diana is much safer with Adalind, Nick and Sean by the end of season 6 by a hundred times when she was with mama Kelly. If Diana was not in immediate danger why would mama Kelly keep Diana on the run with the risky lifestyle Marie and mama Kelly would never let Nick do as a child. Once Diana is the age in season 5 and the king was dead if mama Kelly did not give Diana to Adalind, baby Kelly and Nick that would completely contradict why she gave Nick away. We have seen how dangerous a grimm's life is on the run in Grimm and that is why Kelly gave Nick away so why give Diana that risky lifestyle that would prevent her from being educated.Kelly took Diana in S3, circumstances changed by S6. The most obvious change is that three factions had taken Diana since Kelly pledged to Renard that she’d do everything in her power to keep Diana safe. Kelly didn’t take Diana only because she was in danger. Kelly took Diana because of her potential power, and she wanted to influence/control that power. Do you think Kelly would have been so gung-ho about dedicating her life to keeping a child without special powers from the Royals or any faction? I’m sure there are other children born into the Royal families, but I don’t recall Kelly or any Grimm dedicating their lives to hiding non-power children from them.
Quote:Kelly told Nick not to leave the ones you love so Kelly going back into Nick's life when he is a father would not surprise me.And yet she kidnapped the baby of a woman she knew loved her baby and was willing to protect with her life.
Quote:When Nick was asked by Adalind to look for Diana he did try to do and so IMO he would told her without a double that HW had Diana and he would have pressure Meisner too.Nick looked through a police data base - once. Investigation over.
Quote:Nick did not react that night when he got the information about Diana is not a problem for me. My issue was he was warned at the same time to watch Adalind and Adalind told him that Sean might blackmailing her too. Nick should have gone home to Adalind right then and not gone out on the case and then he could have talk about Diana with Adalind too.Eve had already informed Nick that HW suspected Renard was an active BC member and possibly complicit in Dixon’s murder when Adalind told him Renard knew where Diana was and she was worried he’d use Diana to force her to do something for him. Nick reacted about the same as he would if Adalind had told him she backed into a grocery cart and dinged the car.
Nick was adamant that his son remain safe, and strongly voiced his position when HW informed him BC had taken Diana. Is Nick incapable of feeling empathy? He knows how much he loves his son, so does he question that Adalind loves Diana as much as he loves Kelly, does he doubt Adalind loves Kelly as much as he does?
Because unless Nick is devoid of compassion, his love and fear for Kelly’s wellbeing should have compelled him to proactively respond to Adalind’s concerns about Renard & Diana, and immediately share HW’s intel on Diana with Adalind.
I’m simply referring to one parent being able to understand and empathize with the heartache of another parent whose child is missing and in danger.
