Hi Hexenadler,
You stumped me (again) so it was off to Google:
I'll comment on what WF said
In the fantasy/Wesen world they created FrankenEve in a few weeks. In addition, FrankenEve has the memory of vet school and her work for the animal hospital.
We never saw any blood relatives of Juliette. She likely has a huge college debt. Where are the bill collectors? Did HW pay it all off?
Is it plausible that a real world DVM would prefer to be a fantasy world WMD? I'm not ready to suspend my disbelief that FankenEve is a viable character. It will take incredible writing skill to convince me that FrankenEve is "intriguing."

Quote:Suspension of disbelief or willing suspension of disbelief is a term coined in 1817 by the poet and aesthetic philosopher Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who suggested that if a writer could infuse a "human interest and a semblance of truth" into a fantastic tale, the reader would suspend judgement concerning the implausibility of the narrative. Suspension of disbelief often applies to fictional works of the action, comedy, fantasy, and horror genres. Cognitive estrangement in fiction involves using a person's ignorance or lack of knowledge to promote suspension of disbelief. To enjoy Grimm I need to suspend judgement of plausibility and just enjoy the fantasy.

Quote:An organization that can brainwash and train someone in a few weeks is unbelievable!I think of a real world scenario where Juliette earns her degree and continues in academia another four years to earn her DVM. The cost for in state students is about $147K. That is in addition to the cost of her baccalaureate.
