Adalind's mission from Viktor was to pressure Nick and Juliette into taking her to Kelly and Diana so she could recover her daughter and then the two of them would return to Europe with the royals. It should have been easy; Nick was no longer a grimm, after all. But then she discovered that Juliette was a hexenbiest, which meant Nick was a grimm again, which meant that plan was down the drain and as far as the royals were concerned she was now useless baggage. From that point on, she was out of the loop as far as being in on what the royals were planning. The fallout also got Viktor pulled and replaced by Kenneth.
It's extremely unlikely that Adalind ever believed the royals would take her with Diana (I'm pretty sure she actually said that to Renard), so it's likely that she was either hoping Renard would provide her and Diana with protection or planning to go on the run with Diana herself (Adalind was never very good at long term planning).
