...Can we say the same for Juliette? And Sean to a lower degree. These are the only two in the group that I can recall that killed others for pure self-gratification
Hank & Wu delivered Kenneth to the warehouse for Nick to kill. They were not police officers acting within the rule of law. They were vigilantes carrying out a planned revenge murder. Kenneth is the only individual who could argue self defense in the warehouse scene. If Nick murdering Kenneth wasn’t “for pure self-gratification” I don’t know what it would be.
I don’t think any state has a law that allows a police officer to steal someone’s baby and give it to his mother.
Adalind’s intent was clear - kill Marie simply because Renard told her to. That she failed is merely a technicality distinguished by attempted pre meditated murder and premeditated murder. While Juliette’s actions aided in Kelly’s murder, she actively planned and discussed Kenneth taking Diana - not killing Kelly.
I don’t play the blame game or make excuses for the characters, dicappatore. They’re each responsible for their own misdeeds regardless of the writers whitewashing acts by characters who have ‘good guy/hero’ labels slapped across their foreheads. The only concession I make for any character is that one who is already labeled a bad guy is expected to commit immoral and/or illegal acts. I expect better than that from those labeled as good guys/heroes.
I agree with Adalind's intent being clear paragraph.
But, clearly the whole precinct and Grimm crew are operating outside of the system. I can't judge any of it - Ken would remain a danger to the Grimm crowd like forever if they didn't put a permanent stop on him. I really liked it when the King told Ken that Juliette should stay because she was done doing what she was supposed to, and Ken should finish his own business, etc.
