Looking back at the series as a complete entity, it's even more clear the way in which the writers decided to eviscerate Nick and Juliette's bond was disgustingly cheap. I still can't think about it for too long without wanting to punch Greenwalt & Kouf in their throats.
Someone should have shot down the idea of Nick falling in love with a former sex offender before it was even written, but nobody cared. That's the biggest problem with the writers of this show in a nutshell: They're people who just don't care. Which sucks for viewers who actually grew to like these characters over the years.
No matter how many people try to defend it, "Nadalind" was the monster who really killed the show. Not Zerstorer.
