Does it look like to you they are making him into a darker character? I starting to think he may be wesen anyone else. What about zauberbiest that was why Adalind nor Eve affect him.
It is not Meisner that is darker it is HW and the people that work for them, that make it seem darker. I was wondering why HW and Meisner seem so dark. Both come from the position that violence always solves the problem. With all their high tech it comes down the bet the crap out of people to solve the problem. Unlike Nick and crew who think the problem through, and rely on diplomacy more then their fist.
This is where Nick and crew will be important, their intellect is what HW needs.

So does HW place a wager of human feces to solve the problem?
New Guy
not the feces, so much. But they do value getting their pound of flesh. Shown by Meisner wanting all the information. Eve cocks her head to the side, ready to go to work on the guy.
Now a question that could be in either the Meisner thread of Trubel's but I'll put it here someone may want to ask a different question in Trubel thread. Trubel knows they got the library and they got 3 keys does she tell Meisner (does Meisner even know about the keys?). We also got a list of Grimm's does she tell Meisner about this?
I see Meisner wanting both pieces information but does he need to know?

I see Trubel telling him about both and that Nick needs 2 more keys and is going to Germany after some important artefact recovered from Constantinople.
I reckon, Meisner will want to see Nick and Nick will find out if Meisner knows there are 7 keys. meanwhile Meisner will send Juliette to quiz Adalind about the whereabouts of the books. Nick's also working out where Trubel's true allegiance lies.
Whilst Hadrian's Wall and Black Claw also want the treasure, there's a special verrat department dedicated to finding the 3 keys the Royals don't have, unless everyone's forgotten about them.

As two of the four keys the royals have are fake so could Meisner know this if he does has the resistance been involved?
have we consider the three keys Nick just got might be fake. But that would not play well in the show. It is more then likely the Royals are the ones taht where lied to.

That's one of the things about Meisner that Nick wants to find out. Nick's testing Trubel and Meisner by saying he needs two more.
Renard's information to Nick has panned out so far. 7 knights, Nick's a descendant. The royals spent 600 years getting 4 of the 7 keys spilling far too much blood to be fobbed off by fakes in the process. All 4 of the keys the royals have are the genuine article. The verrat have a special department dedicated to key retrieval. The hundjaegers may have served the royals in that capacity since long before 1945.
Nick's key shows the treasure. His other two showed the approximate location. The three keys the Grimms retained contained sufficient information to find the hidden treasure.
Nick had two now he has three more, the Royals have four. that is Nine keys. Somebodies keys are fake. Or maybe the Roylas lost three keys and Sean did not know it.
