These are their offspring going after [bad] wesen along with Nick, what could have possibly changed between beating the biggest bad they've ever come across and the "20 years later" that could make them go after every wesen when the kids are wesen themselves?Lycanthropia
Mary: Why did Monroe not ask Doyle earlier in the day if he was the Blutbad/Lycanthrope? Doyle told them it was his mother right away later in the day. If scooby team had let Doyle leave earlier then his mother never would have escaped and she would have not threaten Wu and not been shot to death. I do not see the mother as truly evil since she wants not to kill. The scooby team automatically distrusts wesen they do not know can sometimes cause unnecessary death.

Lycanthropia
Monroe takes out the crossbow and points it at Doyle, causing Doyle to woge. Rosalee pushes the crossbow down and says that Doyle isn't a Lycanthrope. Hank asks if they're sure they are looking for a Lycanthrope and Monroe says he's sure. Doyle says they don't understand, and Nick realizes that it's Doyle's mom who is the Lycanthrope.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
