His daydream about her has absolutely nothing to do with that any more than Nick's looking at Adalind's bra and fantasizing about her. I just thought it interesting that there was such a contrast between the daydreams of the two men.I get what you’re referring to. The two reactions were as different as the two men are.
Meisner recalled an actual memory of shared intimacy with Adalind. Although, he did remember it with a more pleasing ambience than Adalind’s screaming and yelling actually provided. Considering that nothing came of it, Meisner might have been manifesting his guilt over not telling Adalind that he had Diana.
Nick’s reaction was more about himself. Sex with Adalind as Juliette was really good. Sex with Juliette as Adalind was also good. Nick’s fantasy was about enjoying sex with Adalind as Adalind. It was the anticipation of sexual pleasure, not the anticipation of adding intimacy to their ‘relationship’. But Nick was oftentimes immature considering his age and job.
Nick could have instead recalled Kelly’s birth while watching Adalind interact with their son. But G & K more often focused on the sex. I’m not sure they even understand adult relationships, much less intimacy.
