Trubel does owe Nick much but she appeared to believe in the cause of HW. I don't necessarily think Trubel has to be loyal to him and only him. She also fought Meisner after finding out just what happened to Juliette so she didn't believe she was alive or that she was hiding her from Nick.
How Eve came to be is just retreading old ground. We'll never get an explanation. We just know that she caused several seasons worth of strife in a handful of episodes. Juliette then became someone else, something else.
I do think Trubel believed in the HW cause because she was using her skills to fight evil not just locally but all over the map but her true loyalty was with Nick. In the beginning, she didn't know what they did with Juliette and was only satisfied in knowing that she stopped her from killing Nick. Being loyal to Nick never meant following him everywhere he went, he just meant more to him than anything else. Trubel was independent and could stand on her and because Nick helped her to do just that. I think she learnt from him to do what she believed was right so she continues to fight with HW but will always come running if he's in trouble regardless of HW and their orders.

IMO, they wanted Bitsie to become a super hero and redeem her as an "intriguing" character. She just drove away viewers and NBC gave G&K 13 episodes to fix it, but they made it worse and the show was cancelled. I watched all episodes through the bitter end. Should I ever re-watch, I will know the show ends at 4.22 when Trubel kills Hexenette. Seasons 5 and 6 are a waste.

New guy, here is my idea how I would have ended season 4.
Juliette would go evil by being the Hexenbiest.
She would have moved in with Sean but get kicked out without spreading her legs.
She would go bar hopping and get arrested
She would get bailed out by Kenneth but keep her distance from the slime he was not FUC-K him like Loona is so proud of it.
She would refuse the treatment form Rosalee and Adalind
She would still burn the trailer
She would still conspire with Kenneth and conspire to kill all those neighbors and Kelly.
As Kenneth’s crew was about to kill off Kelly. Her Hexenbiest and a sliver of conscience would save Kelly at the last second
The Royals would get Diana
She would show up at Nicks house and have the fight.
They would beat each other to near death and at the last minute Trubel and Chavez would show up and stop the fight
Kelly would be in intensive care and live
Both Nick and Juliette would survive. He keeps his job, Juliette would be prosecuted for murder and sentenced to death.
She would then be recruited and somewhat brainwashed by the Feds to become like a Nikita and Join the HW
I bet this ending would have retained more viewers. Tell me what you think?
I think that was the problem with Hexenette. She had no conscience, nothing. It was a travesty because as new Guy said, the writers took it too far, past the point of return that's why they were forced to create a new character in Eve, quickly sweep under the rug all of Juliette's heinous crimes and try and pull one over the viewers with Eve's statement that it wasn't "her" that did all those things. Some may have believed it but it pissed off so many more others. And the writers never once backed down from that stance of "it wasn't me" not even when Juliette came back to the detriment of the show. She should have stayed dead.

Hi dicappatore,
The only ending acceptable to me would include the death of Juliette in the same manner as any of Nick or those close to him may have died.
Her betrayal leads to the deaths of Kelly and several neighbors. Then Juliette must be brutally beaten and decapitated as was done to Kelly. It would be even better if the scene was on camera in graphic detail.
In your scenario, Kelly survives, but Juliette is prosecuted for murder and sentenced to death. I would revise so that the surviving family members of the murdered neighbors witness her execution. Her corpse is immediately cremated. They try to give her ashes to any next of kin, but no one wants them. Chavex, Renard, HW and BC are exposed. Nick leads the investigation, becomes famous and is elected Governor of Oregon. Adalind is prosecuting attorney. Renard goes to jail. And they live happily ever after.

She turned Nick down *once*. Even you yourself have admitted, js, that the second time was not a proposal but Nick "going to propose".
"Going to propose" is not the same. A woman can't refuse a "going to propose".
Yea, The second time he was trying to propose, just before he was about to popped the question, Kelly shows up with Adalind and Diana. That sure killed the moment!

You missed the point of the post wasn't the proposal thing it was the why. She didn't see Nick as in her social circle. I also said for a long time I didn't agree with those who had said that but had changed my mind. If memory serves me you were one of those who always said Juliette was above Nick in social circles. So the why of the post, not the proposal thing, any woman at anytime can turn and down an in fact proposal or a hinted at proposal. Juliette no way no how was every going to marry Nick. Nick was a safe bet for her someone who would be there. This was also the how Adalind seen Nick, just in Adalind's view that counted for the future. Just don't forget the 5 dollars when you go for coffee.

It was just affirming he only actually proposed once. no more. no less.

Let me quote the post so we're both on the same page:
Quote:Short answer yes. The reason she turned down Nick twice, I didn't start out this way, when others posted these ideas I disagreed and somewhere along the line can't pinpoint the when, I changed my mind.
I wasn't Nick the Grimm that was keeping them apart it was Nick the person his social standing. Now did she know this maybe not, she may not have wanted to believe this or even admit this to themselves.
When Juliette changed to hexenette we saw her not wanting to know about wesen when in the past she was all in. Now take this and 5 dollars and you can buy a cup of coffee. I have no proof either way.
Your post was about social standing, but I assume you were pointing out that Juliette refused Nick's proposal *twice* because of social standing. I was merely pointing out that she only refused Nick once.
But if you want to talk about social standing, she didn't refuse him because of social standing. She refused him because he was keeping things from her. I don't get why Nick's actions aren't called by what they are. He wasn't being truthful with Juliette and she knew it. That's all it comes down.
