Why not have someone like Sean, Wu or Hank betray Nick next year? Sean betrays Nick at least once a season during the show.
Adalind can only hurt her children and herself to betray Nick or Sean. Where is the motive? Adalind main motive since Diana been born years ago had been to be a good mother. When Adalind worked for Sean and her mother the most treacherous ones where Sean and her mother. Adalind is stuck in the fome until Kelly is bigger. Diana cannot go to school until she is safe to be around children that look her age and that may take some time. I would not be surprise Adalind homeschooled her kids their entire childhood for safety reason.
