If Adalind's happiness was paramount to Diana, why does it take an apocalyptic event that's occurring near the end of the series to make that happen? No, I’m citing an event that shows the difference in Diana’s mindset and behavior between the later part of S5 and the later part of S6. Diana didn’t instantly change the way she perceived her parents and others around her. Diana clearly wanted her and Adalind to return home to Renard, and had she not developed a bond with her mother, she wouldn’t have gone with her to Nick’s just because Adalind wanted to live there.

Finding out Diana murders in order to get what she wants would cause a great deal of hurt to Adalind, in my opinion.Adalind went to the BC house for Diana. Adalind has wanted to get Diana back since she was stolen in S3. Adalind watched Diana kill while in utero. As much as Adalind was frightened by her daughter’s progressed powers, I can’t imagine she was completely shocked that Diana could and would kill.

If that's the case, then Diana knows that murdering Rachel hurt her father. If it didn't then there'd be nothing for him to get over, correct?I said I was inclined to believe. The show didn’t provide what Diana thought about Renard’s feelings for Rachael. Around the same time, Diana used magic to make her parents want each other. The child didn’t have a clue about familial relationships. And why would she, Diana had been shifted from one kidnapper’s hideout to another since she was seven to ten days old. It was her interaction with Adalind that helped her understand that people couldn’t be coerced into liking or living with one another.

Mommy and daddy were no longer generics, but each was a person in his/her own right. I think she liked that and them very much. Second, for the first time in her life, Diana actually had a family, and not one that she wanted to manipulate. As much as I detest Nick, I have to say he represented a constant in her life and I think she liked him for that reason.I think Diana grew to like Nick as she saw how happy her mother was with him. But I don’t think she stopped preferring that her parents were together. Early in S6 Diana told Renard that Nick would regret hurting mommy. Despite the progression of their stepfather/stepdaughter relationship, I don’t doubt that Diana would have done exactly that if Nick had hurt Adalind at any time in S6. But he didn’t and Diana reacted to him as the man who loved her mother and made her happy.

Characters earn my disdain by deceit, betrayal, lies, cowardice, depravity, inequity, violence and greed. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm used these same qualities to establish the heros and villains in their stories. G&K tried to do the same.Again, you continue to discuss your personal opinion of the characters instead of the characters in their environment. I couldn't care less which characters you love or hate, and why. I'm not debating whether some characters deserve favor from viewers and others don't. I'm not debating anything about fan reaction.
Do you really believe folk who admire virtue are "biased?"
I have repeatedly stated that the characters do not hold the same opinions as you do. Your reasons for admiring Kelly, Nick, or anyone in Team Grimm does not influence how Adalind or any non-Team Grimm member felt about them at a given time.
