happy with Eve/Juliette who says she would not hurt Nick.
Missed part about the fake keys.
Indeed a very watchable episode.
You did spot how Juliette looked at Nick whilst he was in the bunker, didn't you? The hate in those eyes was there. Must have taken great self-control not to explode Nick's brain.
If Meisner had any interest in Grimms, he'd have leapt at the chance to purchase 20 books. He's just lost his chance to recruit Nick.
Renard was spot on about the seven knights being Grimm and that Nick's ancestor was among them. It's likely he's right about there being 7 keys. Nick saying he had need of another 2, may not be slip on his part. It may be a test to see if Meisner knows how many keys there are. If he does, he'll probably mention 7 keys. Nick's going to be a bit stuck if all 7 are needed to enter the hiding place.
I'm going to have to rewatch this episode for sure now, tscchope, because twice now I've had the feeling that Eve is saying Juliette is acknowledging her guilt about things she's done and reaching out a bit. I thought I saw a tinge of remorse in this episode; may be just a senior moment on my side, haha.
Renard was the one who told Nick that the Royals had possession of four keys. Since Nick had two, that left only one to be found. Now, what do we get, but three - where did this Joseph Nobjesa (spelling) get his hands on three keys? But if they are authentic and I'm sure they are, then it must mean that the Royals have some fakes. I think Renard knew his history when he said there were 7 keys because the story was that a key was forged for each of the seven Grimm Crusade Knights - guess they meant that someone would have to have all seven in order to read the map to the location of the powerful artifact.
See, I'm feeling there were still a few hours left on the deadline when the whereabouts of the trunk became known to Nick and the gang because they found out about the warehouse contacting Uncle Felix. I know they were conceiving a plan B about raising some money themselves when it turned out they got it for nothing. If one were to have a devious mind, one might be tempted to take the money if it did come through from the gov't and just pretend to spend it on the books...but that would be dishonest and we can't have that.
