Why in the Fracking Frack wouldn't Renard have told Nick and Juliette about Adaline being in their house and taking personal effects of Juliette's?? Renard has got to know that This Ain't Good!
C'mon Cap, I don't care how all hot you are for the wench! The Wicked Witch is planning to mess with your crew. Give the folks a heads up!
Sean may have wanted to know exactly what Adalind was going to do before acting on it. And there's probably a bit of guilt nagging his subconscious, which might influence his thinking. So subconsciously Sean's trying to keep Adalind from being targeted by Nick, who definitely has no reason to cut Adalind any slack. At the same time, Sean's conscious mind is rationalizing why he needs to hold back for awhile before passing the information on to Nick. Plus, Sean's been playing cloak and dagger with his relatives for so long, he's probably gotten into the habit of always keeping his cards close to his chest.
