Quote:I know that these facts can be confusing to some with a simplistic mind, so i will try to be simple. Trubel got in trouble because she could see Wesen voge, had no one to teach her about Wesen existence and no one believed what she saw.Rolex being a Grimm and able to see wesen and them see him was able to live a life where Josh never felt he was in danger. That means danger never came to their door step. I compared that to Trubel who was as was being confronted because she was a Grimm. What is the same is Rolex and Trubel where not out looking for trouble like Nick. No where was I comparing Josh with Trubel. I was comparing life experiences.
Josh was UNABLE to see a Wesen voge, yet he had a dad that was trying to convince him of the existence of Wesen society. But Josh refused to believe him. How the hell can you compare the lives of these two characters and question why they had different lives? One is a Grimm, the other isn't, yet you have the audacity to question why they were different? WTF were you watching?
Quote:Someone asked a question on a previous post. Why do Grimms hunt wesen. In the past I suggested it was villages sought them out to handle the unexplained. But what would motivate a modern day Grimm. That was a thought question not a show question.
If no modern day Grimms were motivated to go after Wesen we would not have had a show about a modern day Grimm.
Quote:as for Marie's motivation to go back to being a Grimm? Verat trying to kill her would be a great motivator.Marie had Nick from 12 to say 20. During that time she had both the key and the trailer. During that time the Royals did not come after her. So why start after her when she is no longer taking care of Nick.
Quote:In this last paragraph, you question the writes motivation and then you explained it. My argument with you is, because of their ambiguity, one need to use more of what is presented on the screen as facts and opinions as opinions. But some love to leave out the facts and substitute their opinions as facts. Something you seem to be able to do with ease. My question to you is, are you even aware of it?You completely don't understand the concept of creating a hypothetical explanation for what is not defined. Unlike what you do is argue you perspective of the show. No where in may statement did I question writer motivation. I theorized a possible explanation for the writers actions. By definition that writers are ambiguous in their interviews and the dialog. You could never know definitively what their motivation is. which is why your assuming I am questioning their motivation makes no since.
Quote:Why do you think the show didn't voice objections to these mixed relationships? It wasn't only Marie, but Nick himself who decided to fraternize with the enemy by keeping Adalind around and conspicuous. I would have thought that at least the hexenbiest community would have been outraged at that. And exactly who and where in season 5 or 6 would objections to Nick and Adalind be voiced. these two seasons did not have community interaction like the other did.
Quote:syscrash Wrote:These are theoretical questions. I am not arguing points with in the show. I create a premise and then propose an explanation. I am looking to see if other can come up with alternate logical explanations.
Looking at it from Mari's perspective. Being a Grimm she lost her dad. Her sister was on the run. She had to give up the guy she was planning to marry. Yes the sow does not directly attribute these things to being a Grimm. In fact it never really states how her parents died. It also never explains exactly why she broke of her engagement. But if these things where true it would support the reason why she feels the way she does.
The reasons why we don't know about Marie's parents and why she broke off her engagement is because this show was about, Nick the Grimm, not Marie, the Grimm.
Quote:
But you compare this to Kelly, who seemed to embrace who and what see was. Rolex rejected being a Grimm but did not seem to regret it. From what we saw he seemed to find a way to have a none eventful life.
Again, the show is about Nick the Grimm, not Rolox, the Grimm.
