She would fear a fight might have gotten Diana hurt so she left with Kenneth. Diana didn't see the fight. THis is the only thing IMO makes sense.
Your scenario is possible, but like most scenarios concerning Diana, it’s also fraught with inconsistencies. Because Kelly considered Diana to have equal potential to be a great good or great evil, she was determined to keep her from the Royals and anyone else at any cost. It contradicts Kelly’s previous intent for her to willingly roll over and let the Royals have this child with such great potential to harm the world if in the wrong hands. That Diana didn’t see the fight or wasn’t aware of the fight and it’s outcome contradicts her established awareness and ability to react while in utero and as an infant. It also contradicts that Juliette clearly heard the fight while upstairs.
There are many scenarios that make sense, and will vary based on individual preference for Diana’s relationship with the various characters. But there’s little that based on consistent facts. If it can be argued that Diana didn’t prevent Kelly from taking her because she wanted to go with Kelly, it’s also arguable that she didn’t prevent Kelly’s death or refuse to go with Kenneth & Juliette because she wanted to go with them. Considering Diana was able to use her telemetric powers to rip the walls from the studs in the warehouse, to project her image from the BC house into Nick’s loft, and kill Rachael in her apartment while at the BC house, is it really believable that BC operatives could have stormed the HW safe house and taken her if she didn’t chose to allow it?
