You say the first time she says no was because Nick was hiding being a Grimm which is what she said. I'm seeing this in a different light and saying that was just a good excuse. She would have said no anyway because I came around to your point of view that she seen herself as better than Nick maybe even if was just on subconscious level.
Quote:Short answer yes. The reason she turned down Nick twice, I didn't start out this way, when others posted these ideas I disagreed and somewhere along the line can't pinpoint the when, I changed my mind.
I wasn't Nick the Grimm that was keeping them apart it was Nick the person his social standing. Now did she know this maybe not, she may not have wanted to believe this or even admit this to themselves.
When Juliette changed to hexenette we saw her not wanting to know about wesen when in the past she was all in. Now take this and 5 dollars and you can buy a cup of coffee. I have no proof either way.
Your post was about social standing, but I assume you were pointing out that Juliette refused Nick's proposal *twice* because of social standing. I was merely pointing out that she only refused Nick once.
But if you want to talk about social standing, she didn't refuse him because of social standing. She refused him because he was keeping things from her. I don't get why Nick's actions aren't called by what they are. He wasn't being truthful with Juliette and she knew it. That's all it comes down.
The better question is why did I change my mind to your point? For a time I couldn't pinpoint the why after thinking about the complete series, I figured it out. It was when her hand woge when she put the ring on, that to me showed how she really felt about Nick. So children with Nick wasn't ever going to happen.
Now we may have reach our normal point for us point where we agree to disagree.
