Nick's actions are plain to see on screen. He kept telling Juliette he still loved her, that they'd find a way to get through. She told him she hated what she'd become, Adalind came to him with a temp solution in exchange for his protection. I'd say yes, he was doing everything he could to hold on to Juliette but she was bent on pushing him away (and that includes her trying to force him to kiss her woged face seconds after revealing what had happened to her) and eventually causing him the most pain as punishment for what he did to her even though she was a wiling participant from the day he told her the truth about his grimm.
Nick told Juliette he loved her in the police station? He told her he was not taking Adalind's part?
Now I think you're projecting. I believe he said it to her before he went on his walk to think things through. After that, I don't recall him stating he loved her and it's apparent he thought differently since he decided he was no longer going to sleep with her.
Nick tells her in more than 2 or 3 occasions basically he still loves her to her face.. Wants to lean about her, will never hurt her. Seeks the help of Rosalee, Henrietta, and finally Adalind which Juliette was well aware of it.
Multiple times he is repeating it directly on the phone with her and in voice mail.
Or wait, according to you, those are my opinions not lines in the script. Talk about being INSULTING!
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
