She told him she hated what she'd become, Adalind came to him with a temp solution in exchange for his protection. I'd say yes, he was doing everything he could to hold on to Juliette but she was bent on pushing him away (and that includes her trying to force him to kiss her woged face seconds after revealing what had happened to her) and eventually causing him the most pain as punishment for what he did to her even though she was a wiling participant from the day he told her the truth about his grimm.(06-17-2017, 10:19 PM)rpmaluki Wrote: Nick was trying to find any way possible to hold on to that relationship. Helping Kenneth which resulted in his mother's death is the only time Nick gave up on Juliette and even that didn't last long because he couldn't even kill her when he knew how far gone she was.
NIck wasn't doing a damn thing to hold on to the relationship. What he was doing was trying to control Juliette, which he failed at miserably. Juliette hadn't done a thing to Nick at that point. She went to a bar and made a commotion. She ended up in jail and Nick left her there. She still didn't take any action until after Kenneth gave her the news that Adalind was pregnant and she found Kenneth was right. Nick might have been able to salvage their relationship right then and there by telling her he wasn't taking Adalind's part and that he loved Juliette. He refused to say anything to calm the situation down. That tells me he was through with Juliette long before things escalated in the police station. Juliette may have thought there was a chance but his reaction to her was proof that he no longer wanted a relationship with her.
