In season 5, if Nick told Adalind that she did not have feelings for her but he would make sure that Adalind and Kelly were protected and had support agreement then yes I believe Adalind would have stayed with Sean once he left the BC mansion.
I actually can see why there are some people here who question the believability in the pairing of Nick and Adalind. Their behavior together during season five is curious to me. If I remember correctly, Nick never really gave any indication of his feelings toward Adalind or what he expected of their living arrangement. She didn't either until she decided right before Germany to give him a taste of what he was missing. Even then, he didn't attribute them coming together as anything other than sex. Not love, but sex. And for Kelly being the one all important issue in Adalind's life to the point she vowed raising him right, she herself never seemed to take a mature approach to the subject either.
I'm not sure what Adalind would do if Nick showed a sudden interest in Eve.
Adalind had very little expectations from Nick in S5. If he decided to patch things up with Eve, she was aware she had no claim to him so step aside she would. The only thing she'd be concerned about is Kelly and would therefore come some agreement. She was much more forthcoming about her feelings than Nick but she took certain cues from Nick with regards to the progression of their romantic relationship.
