As if Nick had slept voluntarily with Adalind at this time. Just because he thought that he had slept with his girlfriend - there is no free pass for Adalind to sleep with him and pretend to be his girlfriend. What it characterizes as rape.
Well, everyone has a different attitude to this topic - but apparently there are too many Nadalind fans out there.
You bring up an interesting word, Tara, and that's "voluntarily". Nick thought it was Juliette he was having sex with. If Nick had known, would he have had sex with her? I would say no. Because she assumed the form of Juliette as a sexual control mechanism to cause injury to Nick, I would say that constitutes some form of sexual assault.
Of course the other component to this is, would it be rape if Adalind is mentally ill?
That's a really good question irukandji, And I for sure can not give you a 100 % answer to it. I would say rape is a crime. Although it could be shown differently. If she did it while she was mentally ill there wasn't a crime BUT then she need to show a certificate which prove that she was really in that state. (But since it is only a series - we can not expect it.) And we have to get along with our attitude.
All the way Nickliette for ever
