Introducing time travel this late in the game would be a massive deus ex machina, the ultimate in lameness.
Having Nick's ancestors appear to reveal to him all the secrets he needs to defeat Zerstorer would be almost as bad, but it would at least have some precedent within the series because of the Grimm books.
Having Nick knocked out and having a vision of what could happen coming right after Diana's dream about Zerstorer making his way down the stairs would be another groan inducing bit of bad writing done just to fool the viewers with fake suspense.
I've run out of "what if" ideas. Each one seems worse than the one before it.
