Well they done several post mortum interviews after the finale revealing things and that wasn’t good enough for some I recall several posters going as far as calling them liars.
It's a free country. In point of fact, G&K were not always truthful with their audience. I recall one of them calling the other a liar in front of an audience.
Then on the other hand, maybe they were saying in their own way that interviews should not be taken as canon?
I seen that video they were joking around with each other they weren’t being remotely serious , also they didn’t even hint that what they said had anything to do with how them explaining scenes was lies shouldn’t be taken as canon . Like or not the showrunners explaining how they saw things are taken as canon certainly more than biased posters on a fan forum.
Also I include myself in bias category as no posters can truly be unbiased.
