What is see is hexenbiest are not like other hexenbiest. Other wesen are shown to have strong family ties. They gather in groups. Hexenbiest and zauberbiest do not. They are always show alone. they are always shown to value self preservation. Other wesen are show to place concern for other over their own.
This bring up a point about Eve. She is not like a hexenbiest in that she shows concern about others. Something she started to lose as she was changing into a hexenbiest. So I ask, was Meisner's statement about being dead in reference to her not having to lose her humanity. Or is she working on a prime directive.
I do not think that rule applies to everyone.Just like Nick is a " GRIMM" and thinks differently from the others " GRIMM".
I do not think juliette lost her humanity.
As someone would say, she chose the dark side guided by her rancor and hatred. As it happens with people who suffer from depression and can not see the good side of life.

Don't forget Mari was engaged to a wesen. That would indicate her opinion of wesen was not much different then Nicks.
If it is not humanity. what is it that keeps a person from acting on an impulse. That was the theme with Adalind. She reacted on impulse. And like Juliette her actions where excessive. The same was true with Sean. Example he had his brother killed for kidnapping his Grimm. We saw Conrad upon losing at the station he sought revenge. It was the one attribute that Eve was missing. Even after being cured with the stick. Eve never gave into feeling of anger. Shed never reacted out of anger.
Which brings up the question. What happens if and when Adalind gets pissed at Nick. She is a hexenbiest and her natural response is extreme retaliation. Even though she did not retaliate against Sean, so maybe she wouldn't do something to Nick. To me that says more then the times she was trying to be nice. Those times seemed like her being a hexenbiest. But the same can be said for Sean. Not once did he make an issue of Adalind trying to sell their daughter. So I would have to say no Sean does not hate Adalind. I also do not think hexenbiest and zauberbiest are able to love. They all seem to think with a me first attitude. That does not mean they can express care and concern. Even Sean has expressed empathy even if it was done in connection with his action having a self serving benefit.

I do not think Sean hated her or felt anything stronger for Adalind. Not even support her when her mother rejects her.
It was also believed that she was going to accept him as a couple- season 5-
I think every Wesen can love his way.
Eva had the feelings of morality that Juliette threw in the trash.
I do not see any reason for Eva to get angry. No reason for Juliette to do what she did
