To me that meant BC suffered a serious setback with the passing of Bonaparte, but has no intention of letting the loss deter from the scheduled campaign for control of Portland and other cities in BC's battle plan. You guys would know better than me (haven't seen any spoilers), but it may turn out there is little in the way of a direct confrontation between the armies of BC and HW, - but even if the conflict takes place between the Scoobies and this big bad headed their way, it's still BC vs HW, in my view. Imo, BC is not only bad, but set on silencing anyone in their way to world dominance.
So anything I post will presuppose BC and those affiliated with the group are the enemy. Not in any way saying those are the facts, just that is how it looks to me.
The thing that caught my attention about BC was the people that are being attracted to the group. We're not seeing drug dealers or criminals or underworld characters, but people coming from work, upper class people, just the regular population. I'm not going to argue that there aren't some bad people there because I think there are. But is all of BC bad? At this point in time, I say no. Could true humans be involved in contributing to their cause? If true humans were contributing to HW via the government, it stands to reason they're contributing to BC.
You're right there, and that's what I meant by the movement is cloaking itself in the raiment of freedom and equality, which is seductive and not wrong in itself. But it feels rotten to me at the center.
