G&K has always made the characters action be in response to the overall task. They have never made the events for the purpose of personal gain. IN the first three seasons everything done was in pursuit of the key. Because of the key we got Diana and the stick. Diana and the stick in season 6 we see the end game. What it actually all means. The personal interactions have only been to drive the prophecy. It seams Diana is the only character that is essential to get to the end. That is why Diana is portrayed as a thing instead of a person. for the story to play out Diana could have been as much Juliette child as she is Adalinds. Nick is only needed to get us there to the final phase. Sean only purpose is to make it difficult.
G&K could care less about the family dynamics. or the romantic relationships of the characters. The show has never cared about who is goood or who is bad. In fact the show has tried to make that issue ambiguous. The most ambiguous is HW and BC. Both can be viewed as good and both as bad. depends on hwo side you are on. The persecuted or the persecutor.
You think that Juliette was likely to have a baby with Sean?
I was not saying Juliette having Diana instead of Adalind as an alternate theory. But was saying it to show it would not change the mechanics of the show. I have always held the position that the main story is driven by creating an action to explain a reaction. As opposed to those that try and find a motivation for the characters actions or reactions. The biggest one people try to use is speculations on Nick does something because Kelly is his son. or the one that Nick and Adanlind should be together because it would be best for the child.
