And yet......unless I'm recalling incorrectly, he's the first male character in the series to do so. As much of a doofus as Nick he, I don't recall him ever backhanding Adalind or Juliette. Monroe, even as a wesen, has never struck a woman. Even Renard has a sort of chivalry about him when it comes to women. He'll dump them with no problem, but he's never forcibly attacked a woman. I don't count Henrietta because he was Jack the Ripper at the time.
So tell me, syscrash.......why would Grimm show us Meisner not only taking away Juliette's powers but backhanding violently backhanding her as well. Add to that Juliette's in restraints and cannot defend herself.
Meisner intends to turn her into a weapon. You're saying there's no physical force involved? He's already been very physical with her.
The scene I recall was in 5.01, "The Grimm Identity"
Quote:Scene: Chavez arrives at a secret prison-like location.
Chavez: [She walks down to the end of a corridor and opens the slit in one of the cell doors. Someone or something runs, screaming towards the door, so she closes the slit] Any changes?
Meisner: Not for the better.
Chavez: We're playing with fire.
Meisner: We're going to need fire.
The screen caps are not very detailed, but I seem to recall blood splatters on Meisner's face.
The scene is prior to the debut of FrankenEve. The Forum had a bit of speculation about who or what was in the cell. Some thought Diana, but now my guess is that it was Juliette's body in process of being converted into FrankenEve, the all powerful HexenWeapon.
I am not sure what purpose the writers had in mind, but if the cell contained FrankenEve, she was still in a rage at that point of season 5.
Was that the same cell she occupied when Nick visited at HW? By then, they trusted her to not be locked in. You commented:

If he didn't why didn't FrankenEve use her powers to explode their heads through the door slot then do a wrist flip and does an "open says me" and walks out?
Although the temporary loss of power is not explained, I agree that Meisner was using violence to make her control rage. So when they set her free why didn't she use her powers to even the score with Meisner? Why didn't she blow up his head? Maybe he told her "That was Juliette I was beating up. You are Eve so I am only here to give you a life as a cool weapon against HW.
