If we are being serious and she were a real person I think I would state she has severe emotional issues that I doubt she can actually overcome but as I would wish for anyone, I do think with effort and guidance she could at least become emotionally stable enough to make better choices in associations.
Are you referring to the ‘I don’t think Adalind’s a bad person’ part? Given the general morality on the show, there’s no one to compare her to as better or worse. Integrity doesn’t swim in that particular gene pool, so no need to go looking there.
In real life, Adalind needs a lot of therapy, and if in a relationship, it needs to be with someone who is sufficiently healthy & strong emotionally to help her continue in a positive direction. And that’s not Nick. That’s not any character on the show.
But I think the same goes for Nick. He needs to deal with his emotional issues too and needs someone, whether a romantic relationship or friendship, who will confront him on his bad choices and not simply go along with whatever last-minute idea he pulls out of the air. And that none of the characters recognize that Nick has emotional issues pretty much disqualifies them as positive influence/guidance.
