Quote:Conrad already knew how much Adalind meant to him long before, just by taking care of their child alone I believe was enough. Do not forget they have been spying on the whole group, studying them, all those close to the Grimm. That was HW spying on Nick and Adalind not BC. If BC knew Nick and Adalind where close. Conrad would have use Adalind to get to Nick. Instead he only used Kelly. Because Nick was taking care of his son do not mean he was close to Adalind. Even Sean has trouble believing a Grimm and Hexenbiest could be together.
Quote:Now for adalind to leave and take Kelly for the fear of what Conrad could do not really knowing what his real plan was, was not a selfish move from her, It was a protective move, one that would protect all 2 of who she held dearly, Nick and Kelly. She was no way close to selfish, or just doing it for her gains. Her maturity has long past that stage. You keep saying to protect Nick. what danger was he in. You mention the ware house. That was not any of Conrads doing. Even attacking the shop owners was not part of Conrad's plan. Kidnapping would not work because they needed Adalind's cooperation.
It was an interesting move, that helped buy time, understand Conrads true motives, and keep the threats less atleast to the Children for the time being.
Conrad could have taken Kelly and Adalind anytime via kidnapping at work, and killed Nick anytime. They tried to do that once when they trapped them at the ware house. But the book Nick had was his leverage too that conrad really needed which they found out later after the trap they set up for them at the ware house. Thats why Conrads plan was forced to change.
Conrad's plan was to us infiltration not force and intimidation. Ever conversation Conrad had was structured with using reason. Don't confuse Lucien with Conrad. Lucien was a thug and revolutionary. Conrad is not.
Yes BC and Luccien wanted to eliminate all Grimm's and any wesen who would not Join. Conrad had a different idea. He wanted to take over from the inside. Conrad realized they could not win a war. Lucien was willing to go to war. You saw a change in plans once Rachael got involved. She was the one that was instituting Conrad's plan. Left to Lucien he would have continued to terrorize the wesen. Eve getting involved could have also been the reason for the change. You lose twenty men in less then a minute, force starts to not be such a good idea.
