The note said she is doing something to protect her children and she does not expect him to understand or believe her. How dos that explain her actions. She ends with I love you and she is sorry. All the words then disappear except I have to protect you. What is she protecting Nick from. Conrad already said he wanted Sean to convince Nick to join them. Conrad was not out to hurt Nick. For Adalind to say Nick would not understand or believe makes me wonder why anyone would understand her leaving.
If Eve can call and warn Nick why couldn't Adalind have called to warn Nick. People want to make Nick and Adalind a couple. Yet Adalind doesn't think enough of him to call and say she is leaving with his son. Not even an explanation or good bye. What is ironic is Nick just made the statement to Eve that he was not going to lose his son.
How would he ever trust that she would not run off again if she did come back.
Lets recap. After Adalind got her powers back. Nick and Adalinds relation has been marked with lying to each other. withholding information. Adalind skipping out with his son without and explanation. Yet people are hoping for Nick and Adalind to get back together. While Eve has saved Nicks life twice. Helped with defeating BC. rescued Hank. Let Nick know everything she found out about what was going on with Sean and BC.
Conrad already said he wanted Sean to convince Nick to join them. Conrad was not out to hurt Nick. = She had no knoweledge of this
While Eve has saved Nicks life twice. = Eve is a weapon not a parent, her life can be thrown away anytime without any care in the world
For Adalind to say Nick would not understand or believe makes me wonder why anyone would understand her leaving. = as said very complicated a life and death situation. her Children, Nick, she could loose them all over. buying time was her safe bet, knowing who Nick is, she knew he will figure it out (she has seen how nick can be persistant and aggressive when his loved ones are hurt, he went after Kenneth, stormed the mansion, went after Juliette, went for Diana) while she works her side in the lions den.
Another reason why Nick drew them to his territory and not storm into thier territory. He had to act fast, knowing Kelly and Adalind were not in harms way for now.
