I agree that is what happens in real life but I really don't think that's what's happened in that scene. I mentioned in another thread about this show being written by men. This is still a show that's run by men and I don't believe they viewed that scene as Adalind feeling afraid or threatened in any way.
There was a scene in season 1 where Adalind was talking to Renard in private when two strangers came up to them and actually threatened her. Adalind acknowledged this and didn't woge until she felt like attacking. Why would she feel more threatened by Nick on a public street who was no threat to her than two men in private who were definitely threatening her?
I know you're talking about being leered at in real life. I'm one of those people that don't like being leered at. I'm talking about the scene as presented and Adalind did not give me any indication of fear or anger.
I don't know what qualifies as joy but wesen have been shown to woge before sex as seen with Monroe and Rosalee when she came at in her carnival outfit. Neither one of them was going to fight or fly away from that one. It seems to me that a woge can be caused by excitement as well.
