So I just got back, from D.C....and I see this, uh, whatever you call this. I mean really, what the kittens is wrong with some of you people?
I won't say it is just a show, because the show is not the issue, what is the issue is how personally some of you take the discussions of the show, the characters on the show, and the social and political issues that are correlated with the show. I take the later very seriously, but I don't take disagreements personally. And why you would be personally wounded by what an anonymous or even non-anonymous person in a forum says about you is beyond my kin.
Let me give you a perspective, I just spent the week in D.C. trying to make sure all U.S. citizens have a safe Memorial day...the repercussions that stuff can entail is nauseating to even consider. All I can say is I wish everyone in the U.S. Government cared as much about homeland security as you folks do about what some alleged meanie said on the Internet.
My suggestion, and that is all it is, is you go to a veterans home and visit some wounded warriors, or go to a children's hospital and bring a few stuffed animals to some kids, or simply reflect on your ancestors by asking yourself questions about your great-grandparents. What was their favorite color, did they have a pet, what were their hobbies, what were they proudest of, did they have a prized possession. What was their nickname? Most people cannot answer these questions about those who paved the way for them, sacrificed for them and they are all but forgotten. Then maybe hug your kids a bit more, tell your spouse you love them, call up mom and dad if you are lucky enough to still have them and reach out to old friends you have neglected.
The objective of the above was to attempt to give you a perspective. If what XYZ or ABC said in the Grimm forum still matters so much to you, then have at it.
Most pleasant regards on this 12th day of May in the 2016th year of our Lord.
