I do agree the children will on a back burner. I see Renard and Nick getting a apt for Adalind and "both" children we will hear them talked about but unseen. I could see Elizabeth showing up and helping take care of them. Who better to teach Diana and Nick will be ok with this.
Very good twist now I will have to rethink some things. Thanks

Think of it this way . What is a way to integrate the wessen council, sean ties to the royals and Nick's scooby gang.
Everything seems to be finally settling down and then a twist M Night would be proud of:
The Resistance is now against us. A bunch of geurilla warfare wessen with a never say die attitude and no one to answer to gunning for Renard and Nick in Portland.
Now to the debate the leads we been given is the royals will not be in play much in season 5, but some of leads we have the keys will be back. The royals want the keys and Nick has one key they know about and one they don't. He will not be off the royals radar. Sean may not be as hunted with the King dead who was his father as we don't know who will be king or queen or which royal family will now be the more powerful. So I'll give him a rest from that drama he will help the resistance from a distance to keep the royals infighting as long a possible.
Adalind can not be a thing with Nick some fans would leave the show if now he was with Adalind after how they think he treated Juliette. I don't see it this way but others would. If you give Nick a interest this to be a character different than a hexen likely wesen again fans don't want a repeat of Juliette. Your Dämonfeue post was a good one but I like the NM detective Valentina comes on as a new detective working with Wu. Her and Nick work together and things happen.
The council not much of a role maybe being pressured by royals and the resistance. I also see them sending Alexander to mend their relationship with Nick after the bounty hunter. Some think they will send another hit man I don't. I see that episode as way to get a powerful wesen in Portland for Juliette to kill showing her powers.
Now back to Adalind changing some of the things here may appear to unrelated to her change but I see it adding to the statement. She see Nick differently now and works with the Scooby's against the royals. Knows Nick needs get on with his life and works to help that also. Using Valentina as example helps Nick see this can work. Adalind's change makes her in to the mother she now wants to be. I don't see her and Nick being great friends like Monroe but a workable friendship.
My 2 cents. Waiting your twist?
OMG, I would love to see Elizabeth joining the cast full time. Granny would be like the evil Mary Poppins, take care of her grandchild and Nicks boy and be like the Black Ops for the problems than need to be dealt with right away. I think Diana is going to stay with the resistance though but we will see a lot of baby boy Grimm.
The royals won't even figure into S5 except background noise because that dead horse has been beaten into the ground.
It would be awesome if the dark place Nick went to was quitting the police force and actually travelling around for the Wessen council . Seeking out the bad Wessen and killing them filled with vengeance towards his existence and everything GRIMM. Then when he comes back around , Renard makes him a special investigator so he has more Grimm time and still has all the cop perks.
They are going to introduce a new character as a love interest for Hank (comicon panel on youtube) so a new love interest character for Nick would be redundant. Plus I again think that Nick and Adalind are inevitable. It's like Spike and Buffy with the Genders reversed and for every one that hates it there will be one that loves it. I think they may eventually bring back Juliette specifically because of this because fans will be ravenous on bot the Juliette and Adalind side.
I think the season will start out bad and slowly get better until Nick finds his own kind of normal and everyone is content just in time for everything to blow up (return of Juliette , death of another major, etc)
Lets add facts Kelly did not know Juliette was a hexen (poor planning on Nick's part) but thought Nick was in danger why bring the child?
In the car with Kenneth and Juliette Diana said where's my mommy? Kelly would never told Diana she was her mother and Diana knows who her mother is. This lead me to believe that Diana expected to see her mother. I believe Kelly brought Diana because Diana want to go back to Adalind and I believe Kelly believe she had done her best to influence Diana and wasn't needed in that role any longer and was time for her to get back to being a Grimm. I think Grimm's have a need to be Grimm's it's part of who they are. Josh dad was the only one we seen to fight this calling but we have no idea how or what the cost was to him. (Just me I wonder how he did it. I like these question answered I believe these answers add to the story plots)
Some and I agree think Elizabeth had found Kelly and the two of them were working together. Just me now I think Kelly tracked down Meisner and had him come to the U.S. So Elizabeth and Meisner were on the same team this was the back up plan.
That's why Meisner will take Diana to Alalind than shortly Elizabeth will show as they now have created a major blow to the royals. Plus very few alive anyway know how Diana has aged so everyone is looking for a baby. Diana is safe for a time. Meisner or Elizabeth has the information for Nick on Kelly's plan B.
We kind of change the thread but I still see link it to Adalind and raising her children. Even if she tries to change her mind Kelly would have been forced it and now Elizabeth will make her if need be. Elizabeth from what we seen appears to be a loving hexen look what she did for Sean and Nick. Maybe living in danger has done this or maybe the writers want a different type for this time in the series. Aladind mother told her to get lost when she lost her powers.
I add a lot of twist (I think) so what do the others think?
