Now, even though there's the whole having-a-kid-together thing between them, Grimm writers have failed to write scenes between them that really 'bring it', or create much tension. Nick is silently huffy but vaguely solicitous towards her, and Adalind now just acts all helpless and a bit whiny. Her whole personality seems to have changed since the early seasons... Where's the strong, confident woman who made comments that infuriated Nick, with a twinkle in her eye?
Well she did just give up her powers again for now atleast so shes totally human and pregnant so shes somewhat limited, but i believe that Adalind realized she messed up, she tried playing all 3 sides, Grimm, Royal, Renard and she ended up getting caught by everyone, and caught claiming her new baby was the child of the prince who is sterile, by this point with everything shes done noone has a reason not to kill her if they feel like it so im guessing shes gonna try mending some of the bridges shes burn in Portland, but who knows, after she has this child she may go back to her old self, or this whole season could be her playing mind games and playing all sides still
I also personally believe there's something up with her Hexenbeast side, When Nick originally takes her powers you see her Hexenbeast leave, when she regains her powers you see it come back right after she gave birth
But in the Episode when she drinks the Potion to "Silence" the Hexenbeast side there was 2 different Hexenbeast's that came up out of her and twirled before going back into her
