Nick's "power boost" would last for an extremely short duration - no longer than a minute or two - and in that space of time, he would only target the opponent he was already trying to overcome.
Oops, sorry about that, I did take it to mean he exploded in a rage aimed at his target with no concern for whoever or whatever stood in the way. But it would have to acted out within the confines of the character we know and not a zombie-type of behavior for me to be comfortable with the idea. If that's what you have in mind then I agree it's a good concept.

Whether this means Juliette is going to kill one of the recurring cast members, or someone is going to have to kill her, remains to be seen, but I doubt they'll go that far with her character.
I'm a huge softie for "love conquers all" stories, even though I'm sure people would call me naive for it. I think they also have a brilliant reverse-gender spin on the "Beauty and the Beast" fable on their hands, and I hope they don't blow it by going for a shallowly nihilistic conclusion.
You see, that's just what I'm concerned is happening; the shallowly nihilistic thing. I share your hope that the writers won't go that route, but dunno. Keep reminding myself that I have an approach to situations of expecting the worse; it's a flaw, but it works for me. Goes something like if you expect the worse then you're ready for anything, and most times things are never as bad as we fear, so 'it could have been worse' resolutions usually result. It would be nice if they could end up back together, but we know some tragedy is on the way, and all long-running shows get darker because there is loss, so I'm preparing for stormy weather ahead. But hoping for the skies to clear for Nick and Juliette.
