There's no question that most wesen have the physical advantage when they woge. But Hank always gives a good accounting of himself when he tangles with them, and now Wu seems to be opting for staying with the force even though he knows he will face them on the job. Plus all that research they do gives them a way to help level the playing field in showing how to best defeat a specific wesen. There are many occasions when spices, tinctures, and other mixtures found in the trailer, as well as specialized weapons, can be used to overcome them; and don't need a Grimm to be effective. Of course, a gun is a great equalizer and Hank's had to use his a couple of times, and he routinely decks bad guys when he clashes with them. Cops are trained to handle violence from all lawbreakers. But civilians aren't and we're talking about Juliette (who still has managed to fight back successfully in a number of instances). So she could undoubtably benefit from the enhanced physical strength and magic qualities of the hexenbiest - but at what cost is my concern.
Seems like hexenbiests wouldn't make good matches for grimms. I think the hexenbiests' predisposition to using their powers to manipulate to get their way, to take revenge, in addition to their general self-involvement would be a serious problem in such a relationship. It's the normalcy that Juliette brings to her relationship with Nick that seems to provide a steady foundation to his world. One that gives him a haven to retreat to so he can find the renewal to carry on his daily fight in the front lines of a never-ending battle. She most likely would bring challenge and conflict into their home as a hexenbiest, imo, and might be tempted to turn him into a stink beetle when he crossed her.
I would like to see Juliette, Hank and Wu maintain their ordinary human status because we trust them to contribute as such with no need to possess super abilities in order to defend against a stronger foe.
