I don't like it either. I wavered between the first and the second option on the vote because I WOULD like her to kick Adalind's butt. This all happened because of Adalind so it would feel like Karma if Juliette used her Adalind-gained powers to inflict a little damage....if only to say...don't underestimate me in future you HexenbeeAtch.
Then I want Juliette to go back to normal because:
1. As someone mentioned, this was done TO her. She wasn't born this way...it's almost like a permanent scar from an assault and
2. While I don't view humans as underdogs in Grimm, I do think it is important to have strong human characters. I've noticed fantasy and sci-fi shows generally depict humans in one of two ways--amazingly weak and in need of help from those with special abilities/powers OR as amazingly angry and ignorant and seek to destroy (mobs) those they don't understand. That's a pretty narrow view of human beings in general and speaks to very divergent viewpoints (are there no shades of grey as in real life) and possibly even low self-esteem. People don't need to be beautiful, have a special ability, or amass great fortune to have authentic power and be able to make a difference in this world.
I was a bit disappointed that Nick couldn't solve simple cases when he lost his Grimmness. He was a cop for ten years before becoming a Grimm; even knowing about Wesen, he should be able to solve crimes without seeing them. That was the Grimm writers' fault. They just don't know what to do with humans on this show. I think it would behoove Wu to come up with some Wesen behavioral profiling. As mentioned on some other posts, Wesen do behave a certain way when they woge...probably because they are in a disturbed state of mind or emotion. This could help the humans and give them some leverage AS humans. After all, that's what REAL humans do, real law enforcement. They study behavior, discuss solutions, and create profiles.
