There were some details I had forgotten regarding Renard and Meisner's ghost. Renard starts seeing things BEFORE Meisner shows up. It starts with Renard suddenly getting a lot of blood on his hands. Renard also imagines holding a gun and seeing some bullets. And Sergeant Franco, who is talking to Renard, suddenly changes his face into some sort of monster, while saying: “you chose the wrong side, Sean”. This all support what Sasha Roiz said: “It was definitely something he [Renard] was struggling with within himself”. The fact that Diana could not see Meisner also indicates it was not a real ghost. This is, of course, inconsistent with Meisner distracting the BC assassins and Renard telling Trubel that Meisner knows. However, it surly proves that this was all about Renard’s bad choices and NOT that Sean:
