Not necessarily. There's a lot of "in development," "being worked on" and "being considered" time up front before a pilot is ordered. The announcement was in Oct, but we have no idea where they were in the process when they made it. The 2019-2020 season covers both shows that will premiere this coming fall and mid-season replacements that won't start airing until next January.
