But here is a question to you: Why should I read it if I don't like that couple? That's why I have asking in that subject if I am the only one who ship it.
And it had really nothing to with hate - you would probably not read a Nickliette in the other way - because you don't like it. So why should I do it then with Nadalind.
And I did not want to start a discussion. But I want to answer your question irukandji as far as possible. But now it has anyway happened so, I'll try to explain it.
If I want to read a Grimm story I really need to watch out that I don't stumble over Nadalind.
But that is really no hate - I personally do not want to read any Fanfiction about these two. As friends okay but as lover no, sorry I don't buy into that ship. But it's my opinion. That's why I have asking if there are other who ship Nickliette because I want to read what I like - and not because it is more popular.
I think a lot of it stems from the fact that the Nadalind ship existed long before they were an actual couple. Nick and Juliette were already represented on the show, so they didn't engender much desire for fan fiction. Nadalind was already generating a great deal of material, as a means of representing something they wanted but seemed unlikely to get. That fandom was well established by the time Nick and Adalind became canon, so they just continued to explore other facets of that relationship, instead of going quiet. When it comes to Juliette/Eve, there was a significant amount of dislike for the character, which already reduces the prospects of fan fiction devoted to her. I've never understood that view, as I'm quite fond of her, but never the less, it's a factor. For those who were fine with or even had affection for Nick and Juliette, you also have the fallout from their dissolution. It was so acrimonious, that it made the prospect of their future together seem unappealing to many. If you leave out those who disliked Juliette as well as those of moderate passion and mixed emotion, you leave only the slavish devotees of Nickliette. And there just aren't enough of those to generate much content. And even less who would be inclined to write about it. I, myself, could be lumped in with those of ambivalent feeling. When Nick and Juliette were together, I liked them as a couple. And when things fell apart, I was crest fallen. Before that point, I was barely aware of the Nadalind ship. But like many who weren't the original diehard shippers, I grew an affection for this new dynamic, and at the same time, felt that it wouldn't be right to go back. There's an almost instinctual reaction, that for Nick to run back to Juliette, would be tantamount to abandoning his family. It's certainly more complex than that, but first blush usually carries the day. So this becomes a matter of the Nickliette ship, only shrinking, never growing. The closest I ever came to considering Nick and Juliette back together, was imagining some sort of thruple situation with Adalind included. But at the end of the day that comes down to male fantasy, more than anything. (Although that would have certainly been uncharted territory for network television.) I'm sorry that this dearth of desired fan fiction leaves you feeling under represented. But there isn't much to be done about it. Your best hope is that some of those who discover the show in the future, share your devotion, and have some writerly chops.
