I am one of those that doesn't see Nick as a corrupt cop because I try to see his intentions in his actions. And what I saw during the show was a man with the hard responsability of knowing something that others didn't know and because of this he had to make choices no one else could do. I saw he trying to do the right thing.
But I see that there are same people in the forum that sees Nick as corrupt because they try to see Nick's actions and not his intentions. They saw that Nick did things in the wrong way.
In the end I think this is the real question here :
Nick choosing to do the right thing but same times choosing a questionable way. Versus. Nick doing things in the right way (following the law procedure) and letting the system follow its path to the final result.
IMO, there are some that view a character in a negative way. Then offer solutions on how to redirect those negative actions to a positive outcome. Others might view that same character in a positive way and reinforce their view by example. Then there are those that just either like a character or dislike and give no reasons why.
Whom is to say which view is right or wrong? Hence the forum created to discuss all the above.
Here’s what bogles my mind. You have a show with the Name “Grimm”, The main character is a Grimm. The whole plot revolves around “A GRIMM”. If you are a poster to these threads and have such bent up hate for the guy? When you make up scenes, negate actual scenes, change the time line, redirect augments when you cannot prove a point.
When it seems to some, the only way to make their outlook on the plot to their liking is to remove him? Why watch it for 6 years and/or 123 one-hour frekin episodes?
To just go on and rant and hate such a fictional character without adding any changes to a solution to meet your objective. What you end up is not a discussion but a dictation!
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
