The biggest difference is the intent. Juliette intent was not to kill Kelly. Adalind was sent by Sean with the intent to kill Mari. As for Nick forgiving Eve. Consider she has come to Nick's aid twice. Risking her life, with the last time almost dying. Even if you don't believe she deserves his forgiveness. He owes her for saving his life. Even though she has made it clear. She is not looking for gratitude. Unlike Adalind who never does anything without a payoff. To me if you are willing to go into battle with someone. That means you have forgiven and trust that person.

In Marie case Adalind never tricked her Adalind never misused someone's trust. You like many other put to much into the trust issue to define the difference in Adalinds involvement and Juliette involvement. Remember Kelly only meet Juliette once for a few minutes. Juliette would have wanted to get to know her because she was Nicks mother. On a personal level she did not know her so she would not have had a connection. No more then Adalind would have a connection to Mari.
