They have let be known that the royals will not play much of role this season, because they will be dealing with Kings death. Look pretty straight forward from that statement. I don't see the royals totally out of series just less of them.
Without the royals who or how does Diana come back into the story. I'm on record saying Meisner brings Diana to Adalind so you have my view. I doubt all the forum agrees with that (I've read other posts so I kind of know you don't) but that's not the only way Diana comes into play. Sean what will he do if the series as they said gets back to it's roots where does Diana or Sean fit now?
Do you see Sean using the resistance from time to time stirring up the families? How would you did it?
Ideas thoughts?
Since you asked in such an open ended fashion: The writing of Grimm is starting to remind vaguely of the Sopranos in the sense there are so many dangling plot items that are not resolved. For example the Nick Zombie thing among others. I would not be surprised if we see once major plot elements simply drop on the floor. It gives the writers a lot to work with in the future, but the downside is the series could end with so many dangling threads. But then that is how life is, problems are not serial in nature, each day most of us juggle several. Which is to say I suspect that we will be left with many sagas left unfinished in the Grimm universe.
