Just for the flocking record. This thread was initiated by WispyWillow witht he question "Grimm: Is Nick Going to End Up Alone"? On 01-29-2017, 01:44 AM.
As I recall and maybe I could be wrong, S6,E13, "The End" with the infamous Epilogue, aired around the end of March, 2017. This thread was started 2 months prior to the ending episode with its epilogue and grown up kids raised by Nick and Adalind answering this thread.
Until the middle of March, this was a valid question. Once the final episode aired, this thread was put to rest. The thread continued, for a month more to the end of April, 2017. The discussion basically pointed towards the varied opinionated expectations of how it ended. Clearly, by the end of April, the final episode with its final epilogue answered and put this thread to rest.
This thread went dormant for over a year and a half, 19 months. On 11-22-2018, 09:35 AM, Henry of green revived the thread by affirming fallacy of the question this thread asked by stating:

Then it began. Squawk, Squawk, Squawk. The naysayers started to chime in trying to change history. Here we go again, creating a Nick character that never existed.
Here we are almost 2 years later. Two flocking years and 46 pages later, after the Epilogue that put this thread to rest. These naysayers, under the guise of just "sharing opinions", completely contra-dic-ting what took place on the screen, at the end of S6, E13.
To top that off, They expect to be taken serious and with respect. Bla, Bla, Bla. Please, just STFU!

As the whole point of the Nick character was he was a different kind of Grimm he wasn’t like his mother and the Grimms that came before her he couldn’t just live a solitary life devoid of friends and family it just wasn’t within his character to live that sort of life.

For protecting them and for believing that they could have a normal relationship.
