If you notice, neither DG or JK is giving *their* impression. They're leaving it up to the interviewer. In other words, they are being ambiguous.
BTW, here's the definition of ambiguous:
//unclear or inexact because a choice between alternatives has not been made//
They said yes that’s Fair, fair on its own isn’t ambiguous at all the writers made it claer when they said that’s fair if they wanted it to reasonable
Sure they are. They're not making a choice whether Nick and Adalind ended up together, nor are they stating they agree with the interviewer's interpretation. They're just saying that if the interviewer's interpretation is a reasonable one.
And really, that goes along with what DG stated further on in the interview. Whatever happened is up to the viewer.

You know, from all of the outraged posts even questioning that Nick and Adalind were together some 20 years later, I thought for sure there was some interview out there confirming it.
Thanks for telling us that there was not by stating this:
"The show itself give strong indications that they are still together."
The interview did confirm it your just far to biased to accept it you’d make an excuse no matter what the writers said

According to Cambridge definition they are confirming they are still together as definitive statement, Grimm wiki took it as a definitive statment.
Cambridge
Its fair to say= it is true to say:
G&k are asked is it fair to say they’re still together and respond yes that’s fair
Are you calling Cambridge liars they are saying it’s fair means it’s true.
I’m done here.
